By bus from Ouro Preto to Brasilia. From the Rodovaria (bus terminal) a Metro goes to the center of Brasilia. From the center to the airport the bus number 0.030 (they use a odd bus number system) is running along W3 Norte then W3 Sul with many stops (there are also buses from other parts of Brasilia).
Went also to the Memorial dos Povos Indigenas, a bit sad, mostly fotos, and a little shop selling quite nice clax Figures and some trinkets.

Most of these modern buildings where built within 41 months until Brasilia was inaugurated in 1960!
From todays point of view the some buildings needed better aircon (now hanging in the windows) and the transportation is basicly for cars, there are buses, not easy to use for tourists and giving up to 2 hours commuter time to people living in the oter areas (only 10% live today in the central area). If you book an accomodation take it as central as possible.
